FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
For your photography sessions, you typically provide a selection of professionally edited images, and the number can vary depending on the session and the specifics of the shoot. Generally, clients can expect to receive around 25-50 edited images from a one-hour photoshoot, though this can vary based on the shoot's length and number of people involved.
How should we dress for our family session?
For any outdoor session, I recommend dressing in earthy, subtle tones that complement the outdoor setting. Avoid wearing black or neon colors, as they can clash with the natural surroundings. Instead, opt for soft, neutral colors like beige, soft greens, rust, navy, or pastel shades. These colors not only blend well with nature but also create a timeless and harmonious look in your photos. Aim for coordinated outfits that aren't too matchy-matchy—think layers, textures, and patterns that complement each other without overpowering the scene.
What’s the best time to have do outdoor photos?
The best time for outdoor photos is during the "golden hour"—the period just after sunrise or before sunset when the light is soft, warm, and flattering.
What if it rains?
If it rains, no worries! I always have a backup plan in place. For outdoor sessions, we can either:
Reschedule the shoot: If the weather looks uncertain, we can choose a backup date that works for you.
Embrace the rain: Sometimes, rainy weather can add a unique and beautiful touch to the photos—think misty landscapes, reflections in puddles, and soft, diffused light. I have umbrellas and rain gear on hand to keep everyone dry, and the rain can create a dreamy, cozy atmosphere
When will we receive our photos?
Typically, you’ll receive your edited photos within 2 weeks after the photoshoot. However, during wedding season, the process may take a bit longer, and photos could be delayed by up to an additional week. Your photos will be provided via an online link for easy viewing and download.
Do you provide quotes and contracts?
Yes! Every good photographer should provide full transparency and a fair contract. I’ll provide a detailed quote for your session, outlining everything from the session price to any additional fees. A contract will also be in place to ensure both parties are clear on the details, expectations, and terms of the shoot
